Tormey Woods played one of the sixteen Atheniens in Le Monstre du Labyrinthe. During the Festival d'Aix en Provence he stayed with Opera Junior in a local hotel and rehearsed everyday with the other three hundred people involved. The concert was directed by the legendary conductor Sir Simon Rattle and written by Jonathan Dove, a increasingly popular modern composer. 

Le Monstre du Labyrinthe was nominated by the International Opera Awards for most accesible opera.
