Tormey Woods performed in the opera Genevieve de Brabant by Offenbach as the role Grabuge at the Opera Comedie in Montpellier in May 2016.

The lively opera was performed by the Opéra Orchestre National Montpellier, with stage craft by Benoît Bénichou.

Tormey Woods (bass) stars alongside Thomas Dedieu (tenor) playing Grabuge and Pitou, the characters most famous for The Bold Gendarmes duet.

The production received fantastical reviews and the crowds enthusiasm led to seven curtain calls for the whole team.
